about

Hi, I'm Lynsey!

I'm a mum, a believer in small, manageable health changes (because perfection is overrated), and the founder of Be Imperfectly Healthy.

If you’ve ever felt personally victimized by a 30-day health challenge (looking at you, day 4), or if “I’ll start again on Monday” is basically your life motto—welcome. You’re in the right place.

  • My philosophy
"I believe that showing up consistently, even imperfectly, creates far better results than occasional moments of perfection"

my Mission

I believe we can transform our health not through grand gestures and massive overhauls, but through tiny, consistent actions that compound over time.

That one push-up you actually do is infinitely more valuable than the 60-minute workout you planned but skipped. The 10-minute walk you took around the block builds more health than the 5K run that never happened. The vegetable you added to your takeout meal counts more than the perfect meal plan sitting unused in your drawer.

My Journey

Like many moms, I've navigated the chaotic waters of trying to prioritize health while managing a busy family life. I've tried the strict meal plans, the intense exercise regimens, and the complicated wellness routines that left me feeling like a failure when real life inevitably got in the way.

What transformed my approach to health wasn't finding the perfect diet or workout – it was embracing the ability to keep showing up imperfectly, day after day, without requiring perfection to continue.
